And having needed another number to make an even 10 I decided to suggest that golden Freddy didn't have any soul inside of them. But this then moved to them just being a hallucination and then I remembered that the thing with hallucinations is they aren't real. There's whole stories around pink elephants and what not, because people see them while hallucinating. So if golden Freddy was really just a hallucination, what would that mean for the series?
