A year after the launch of the Nintendo Switch, the company is taking the platform in a more analog direction with Labo. It’s a line of kid-oriented DIY toys that combine cardboard-based structures with the Switch and its Joy-Con controllers to form — wait for it — Toy-Cons.
The Toy-Cons take the form of ordinary items like a piano, fishing rod or motorcycle, as well as more outlandish setups, such as one that turns the player into a giant robot. See our coverage below of this wild new path for the Switch’s trajectory.
